A new feature enables owners of a personal data space to export their MS Outlook contacts into their secured data space and to access them remotely via their mobile phone.

With only 2 clicks, an easy-to-use export utility stores the Outlook contacts in the personal data space by preserving their initial directory structure. Once located in the personal data space, this electronic address book can be accessed by any Internet-enabled device, including handhelds (PDAs, Pocket PCs, ...) and mobile phones.

Accessing the contacts via mobile phone does not require any specific configuration, nor are the data stored on the phone's SIM card or memory. The user simply connects to his or her personal data space and the contact directory appears on the user's phone display, allowing to browse through the contact list and to directly call or email a person. The data space owner can also grant access rights to selected items in his/her personal contact list and thus share Outlook contacts with others.
