idDOON is composed of “ID” and “DOON”, with id standing for Identity and DOON standing for Data Owners Online Network.

What is My NetSp@ce and what allows it to do?

My NetSp@ce is the personal data space provided by idDOON.

My NetSp@ce allows individuals, home users and companies/ entities to create and to manage their protected personal data space on a specially dedicated and highly secured server. This secured data space enables its owner to
   •   save data online (through private or public networks);
   •   share data with others;
   •   sign documents electronically;
   •   access the data space through different media (PC, laptop, mobile phone and diskless devices).

This personal data space can be compared to a virtual vault where the user can store important personal information and data. Each item in a personal data space is stored in its own safe deposit box which is locked with a key. Only the data space owner knows what is inside!

The data space owner can selectively grant individual access rights to items he or she would like to share with other NetSp@ce users. Only the data space owner decides who gets access to special items within their personal data space and determines the kind of access rights (read, edit, …). Access rights only concern selected items and can be revoked at any time!

What can be stored in a personal data space?

idDOON's secured data space can store any kind of data object: text files, images, music, executables, application data files. The personal data space can be customized to the individual needs of each user. It is up to the user end application to set and use the appropriate types and structure of data objects.

What about flexible access?

People can access their personal data space anywhere, at any time and from any device (mobile phone, PC). The data servers and user access terminals can be arbitrarily distributed within the Internet or Intranet infrastructures. This provides real "store anywhere" - "access anywhere" capability for everyone. Since data remains encrypted throughout the entire process, there is no need for special secure transmission like SSL.

Are there any special technological requirements to use idDOON's personal data space?

No, all you need is a computer with Internet connection. To access your personal data space you need a personal key that will be provided during the subscription process. Your key can be stored on your hard disk drive, a USB flash drive, a smart card or any other storage device.

How to cancel or change my account ?

You are free to cancel or upgrade/downgrade your account at any time on the personal administration page in your NetSp@ce.

Once you cancelled your account, your account and all data will be instantly deleted. There is no possibility to restore your account.

Note: If you cancel after the free trial period has expired, you'll be billed for the current month.
